What year is this Allis SP100?

Would anyone happen to know what year this one is?

Does it look re-painted? Hard for me to tell.

It is on the Green Bay, WI CL right now.

I just bought one like that, sans the Scour-Kleen, for $900. Mine has had the steering changed to the Super design, angled wheel. The serial number is stamped on the frame, left side, between the engine and where the angled channel goes forward. ie, on the channel that runs at an angle. IIRC mine is 2813, a 1955 model. There were around 5000 SP models made, then the Super 100. Mine has the windrow pickup.

I looked at all the pix on the craigslist post...how do you transfer a couple of them to your post here?

I think they named it model 100 because it has about 100 places to grease - - at least 90 of them hard to reach. We rented one the first year we raised soybeans. It worked pretty well but was the hardest machine to grease that I ever had to lube.

I saved them to my computer, and then uploaded them. So, right click on the image you want, then "Save As", and then I usually save stuff to desktop if I am going to work with it right away.

I am thinking that I may go look at it at least. It might trip my trigger. It sounds like I will need some grease gun hose extensions to lube her up!

How do you like your SP100?

Yes it has been repainted. The decals are all wrong.

Does look like a nice combine and the price seems fair. If I were buying I would want to give it a walk around and check it over closer.

As far as the greasing, if you don't have an electric grease gun, buy one. You wont regret it.

Mine is a working machine- they used it for clover seed, thus every crack is covered with duct tape or tar. My bones tell me to add a step to it, and it needs to be re-wired, and new pickup belts. Might be cheaper to find sickle and reel?

Been looking for SP100 for years, missed one just across the WI border some years ago. I think I need an AC cotton picker yet...saw one at Amana Colonies a while back. Would be fun at MN shows!
