643 corn head conversion

I'm trying to figure out what all I need to make this 643 sidehill corn head work on a regular NON sidehill 6600. Looking at these two diagrams it looks like I need to replace shaft 6 on the sidehill head with shaft number 11. (Top one is regular head) Will the 13B sprocket end not just attach to the end of 6 on the sidehill head?

You will need to change shaft #6 to shaft #11. The shaft #11 is about a foot longer.

Just call about any combine salvage yard. They will have dozens of the regular drive shafts. The side hill shafts are worth more than the regular shaft.

You also will not need the double bearing setup. The regular shafts just have the single bearing out at the side of the header. So you will have a bracket and bearing left over.
