I bought a Model 100 today, sn SP2813. I figure it"s a 1954 or 55- anyone with a sn list? My book shows a Model 100 with the flat steering wheel- this one is angled, and my book says the Super 100 introduced the angled steering system. Maybe a changeover during its lifetime?

It has the 226 (WD45) engine. Nice running machine, needs pickup drapers. Used for clover seed harvest in N Central MN- lots of duct tape and tar covering door gaps, etc., to reduce seed loss.

I saw that machine on craigslist and I would guess that it has been converted. Allegedly they steered easier with the angled wheel. I bought an angled setup for my 100 but haven"t installed yet. It only takes four bolts out of the platform and drive out the roll pin on the shaft to change the assembly.

Machine is still 3 hours North....will pick it up within a couple of weeks, and hope to post pics then.....after retraining! Maybe snap pics when parked next to the Model 66 with corn head?

Congratulations! Those are super neat in my book!

Hope it all works out for you. Looking forward to some pics when you get it!

Welcome to the 100 owners club! What drive wheels does it have on it?

Interesting machines.

Might have some parts if you need any.

10 or 11x24 wheels. Only obvious parts now are the draper belts..they"re pretty rough and some tears. Runs, drives, operates well. Has a short discharge spout for filling bags, but the long original auger comes with it. Missing the engine shield that keeps the dust away from the right side, but they"ll look in the sheds to see if they have it.

Neat to hear of someone with a 100! I"ve been looking for one for years, but have only found one, and the owner wouldn"t sell.
Pictures would be nice.

I was looking at that machine because I thought it was a super 100. But passed on it when I found out serial number. Glad it got saved.

The belts you should be able to get from Legg belting. The engine shield is missing most of the time, I believe you can make picker engine shields for a WD work.
