Just delivered today. A 69 105 Corn Special. My dad had one just like it when I was a kid. I actually remember sitting on the armrest of the seat with the upper window of the door propped open on hot days. Or in the fall when it was cold, I'd be huddled up near the heater. Man, where does 30 years go?
Anyhow, I wish it was a hydro, but it's not. It does have quick tach feeder house though, which is nice. Gonna be a big project but I have big plans for it. If you know me, then you know what that means. This combine is older that I am, so I'm sure I'll have lots of questions and parts needs so anyone with experience on these, please be sure to let me know. Right now, it has a non running gas engine. But I have a JD 404 turbo diesel that I'm planning on using for the new powerplant. Can't wait till it's self powered becuase dragging and pushing it around is no fun task. Anyhow, here's a few pics I snapped today. Let me know what you think or if you have any improvements in mind. Been scouting around at some other 95/105s and I have lots planned already.
