I know what I will be doing this morning.Shoveling up 300 bushels of wet corn.Corn harvest has been rolling on here in central Ga and we are about to finish up.We are on the last 100 acres and murphys law has been all over me this season. We were fighting the weather yesterday and the guy on the cart tractor took off for the shelter when it finally started raining. When I drove up in my pickup this is what I found. My cart laid over on its side with corn scattered everywhere and the missing tire about 300 feet out in the cotton patch. It looks like the studs broke on the wheel but I cant really tell for sure.Bad part is it destroyed the auger and bent the side of the cart up pretty bad.It is not going to be fun finishing without a cart but at least we are in the short rows now.
