Now that things work, speed test on rotor and fan

A while back Matt G gave me some speed ranges I was to try for on the rotor and fan. I did these today as part of testing my repairs.

Rotor in high range will operate between 600 and 1000 RPM before the limiter switches shut down the adjustment.

Fan was started around 400 or just below. I ran it up at full RPM's to around 800. At this point the motor stopped turning. I believe it hit the stop nuts but my helper did not catch that so I would have to try again. I can adjust the stop nuts or check the throw out bearing as suggested. I would need a road map to the bearing and some idea on how to tell it needs replacing. Maybe it is obvious but thought I would ask in advance.

Feel like I am getting somewhere finally.

With the machine shut off you can still tell if the pulleys are all the way in or out on the sheaves.

For the fastest fan speed the drive pulley would have the belt around the outside and the driven pulley would have the belt up in side (Big to Small for speed)
