7700 new to me, getting it ready

Have a few questions on a 7700 turbo. Don"t have a manual yet.
The light for indicator of oil to transmission is on when the combine is still, but goes off as I move it. Is this normal?
Also how many links and is it #50 chain that connects the combine to a 224 platform head?
Any other tips or comments to help out??
Thanks

The light is the transmission oil pressure. (nothing to do with the hydrostatic drive) It is on when your setting still because the transmission pump does not turn/pump unless the input shaft is turning. When you move the light goes out as the pump is working then.

I do not know what chain your talking about. There are no chains used to connect the header to the combine other than the little double connector chains. There is a chain that drive the feeder house chain on the right hand side.

It's the little double connector that I need. I didn't realize it was double chain with the sprockets, I thought the two shafts lined up horizontally from each other. Talked to a guy in church today that has a 6600 and he set me straight on it.
Can't seem to find the double chain in the online parts though, still don't know how many links it needs. From counting the sprocket I think it will be 13 plus the connector.
Anything else you would check??

You can get the drive chain at your local JD dealer. Otherwise it is a double 60 chain. When I've used the double 60 chain, I use a connector link to be safe. You will need a needle nose plier to put it together though.
