Cut some oats today

Got to run my 955 case swather on some oats today. Hope to run them through my 1160 combine about friday.

Brother still has the old Case SP swather at the farm, stored in the machine shed. The original Wiscosin engine was replaced by a Case engine, which made it a much better unit. He also has a late model JD pull-type swather, but not much market for those anymore.

If trucking wasn't so bad I'd buy that pull-type swather. The practice never caught on around here, they just went from binders to direct cutting with the combine. Once in a while the oats get full of foxtail and swathing would be the way to go.

Well that's pretty cool. I could not get the video to play but I will assume it is me and not the link and try again later. Can one of those be used for mowing hay?
