I got this windrow pickup with my Gleaner.

What brand is it?

Can't find a name or plate on it, just the one stencil.

Looks like a Melroe pickup. Don't know if they are still made or not. Some farm equipment dealer might be able to tell you.

I still have a Melroe P/U with the metal hinged belts. Paint scheme reminds me of Melroe...rubberized belts and hyd drive may be a more recent model. Melroe is part of Clark now, they used to make tine harrows, plows, p/u....now it"s just Bobcats I suppose.

Like was said, looks like Melroe, but might be a Renn. Think they took over some of Melroe's product line. I have a late Melroe and it has aluminum hinged belts.

That could be a handy thing. Are they common? Don't know that I ever saw one before but then again, I wasn't exactly looking before this year.

More and more try straight combining small grains (bean head, the float locked up straight), but swathing and letting the grain dry 3-5 days gets it uniform and the weeds dead and dry around a humid climate like we have most summers.

That would be a late model Melroe. You can replace the aluminum belts with these on the older heads if you want.

It is an older IH pickup off an 810 header, not a Melroe. My IH combine came with an IH pickup like the one pictured. I didn't like the job it did so I replaced it with a used Melroe 388, which is a later model Melroe with rubber drapers that have the regular Melroe metal teeth. There are companies that make rubber or belt drapers with plastic teeth to retrofit on Melroe pickups.

I can tell you for certain that the painted on long number is IH for a machine sub assembly or attachment, 2350799R91C, what it fits or who made it is lost in history.

That's funny. ;)

I have a Dakota, 1500, and 2500 in the shed next to my Gleaner but you made me smile.....

Stopped by my Case dealer this morning, second guy said yea looks like an 810 series, part number is a Case number, probably only have belts and teeth for it. He thought Melroe might have been the manufacturer of it.

First guy was 3rd day on the job, we had a nice chat waiting for a little more experience to come by. ;)
