Plugged cylinder

A big wet wad of oats got me yesterday on a 9400 deere. I got the rear of the concave dropped down but the front will not move. Any helpful hints on unplugging the cylinder?

Last JD I drove was a 45 hi-Lo, so I have no experience. (With your model - lots of experience with my silver ones....)

There are several suggestions here:

I've heard of the chain on the pulley deal before as one mentions, but i would think it would be easy to do some damage if you aren't in a calm frame of mind at the time.....

Thanks for the help. I used a log chain and com along hooked to the head. Got it to rotate about 6 inches and dug out a whole lot of straw. Hopefully I can get it done tomorrow

Sure makes our Gleaners look handy, doesn"t it? Pop the (real) rock door, take out two bolts on the back door, and power it out.
