Yesterday,I and 3 friends drove 210 miles west to central Kansas to attend the Goessel,KS show..It was a sunny 93 degree day and it was getting pretty dry out there..Here are the combines in action...Several of the drivers post on ytmag..

Also here are some more pictures from the show..Its a real nice show and I will be back in 2015..Theres a fantastic collection of big prairie tractors based at Goessel and they will be featured next year..

We had a G2 pull-type moline combine like that. Hercules engine was a bit underpowered. We also ran a G3 MM combine that had the same engine as the "Z". That machine would outdo a 65 JD pull-type combine. Replaced those machines with Cockshutt SP112 combine.

It looks like you were out in the field taking pictures when my Allis All-Crop was parked; I must have been off doing something else then. Thanks for posting these pictures. We had great weather this year (low 90's for the first of August is as good as we can hope for!) and the attendance was also good. It was fun to do all of our field demonstrations after getting totally rained out last year. The gumbo ground we have is rarely in decent shape for plowing but this year it was about ideal. (Like you mentioned, though, things are getting really dry where crops are growing.) The wheat was pretty thin in our area this year and our's was no exception. Good thing our club isn't farming to make money!

Thanks to you and your friends for coming Blaine, we do really try hard to put on a show.
I had trouble with my WK-40 leaking tranny oil out the front, otherwise it was scheduled to run the sawmill some. Was pretty disappointed, but, the F-30 was tried out first time belted to the sheller and stationary cutter and worked better than good so win some loose some.

Brendon,is this you out plowing? Earlier I thought that I saw it hooked to an AC combine..Yes,you guys sure had great weather this year...I was out there in 2007 and it was muddy...I was going to go in 2011-12 but it was over 100 degrees..Then last year it rained and rained..Its a fun show...

Russ, you guys sure put on a great show..In fact my friend Robert said that it was by far the best one he has ever been to..He wants to bring his two brothers next year so we may have 6 people there from MO..Your F-30 did a good job..Is this your WK-40 and IH crawlers??I'm sorry that there wasnt more time to visit but there was lots to see and do...

That would be great, always planning more to see and do there.
Yes, those are mine except for the 40 crawler belonging to Dave Sebits. The 35 crawler I just gave back to the son of the man that gave it to me, and he displayed it.

Yeah, that would be me. During the weekend my 350 was rotated numerous times between the All-Crop, the disk, and this IH two-way plow.

We're glad you folks enjoyed the show and are thinking of returning in the future. We try to take advantage of the fact that we have our own ground and can do a lot of field demonstrations which is something that not all shows have the luxury of doing. Of course, like you noted, the weather isn't always agreeable for field work but most years it works out.
