Gleaner injection pump

I've got a Gleaner F2 with the 200ci 4 cylinder turbo diesel. The throttle shaft is leaking fuel. I assume the pump needs to come off to fix it. Before I remove the pump, does anybody know how to set the injection pump timing? Thanks in advance!

Remove the two screw timing cover plate on the pump side. The cam ring mark will be seen, now turn the engine until the mark on the retainer plate next to the cam ligns up.

Throttle shaft was leaking on our F2 a few years ago and had the pump rebuilt. They set the rpm at the shop, but I had to increase it. If you have an F2 engine manual the info is there. It is also a good time to pull the injectors and have them tested. Tom

The pump does not need to come off the engine. There is plenty of clearance to pull both ends of the shaft. The DB4 throttle shaft seal kit is available from any injection repair supply/shop. Clean the pump exterior thoroughly before removing the top cover and do the repair inside a building so there isn't a breeze blowing crap around while you have it opened up.
