You had questions about wiring an older Gleaner for a flex head. I"m back from Alaska and can give you part numbers for the module and the harness that you need. The harness is 71317454. The module is 71345087. They are found on F3,M3,L3, and some N series machines. A Gleaner dealer can check out the module, also Ag Express in Des Moines (515-289-2746) as well as MCC Electronics (816-795-0600) (near Gleaner factory in MO?)

For the M2 there is a serial number break...23801 (1982) and up. 6 pin disconnect. Module has 2- 3 pin disconnects and 1- 6 pin disconnect. 3 position rotary switch...Low-Medium-High.

I have dealer printed material re diagrams, etc. that I can send...email is open

Couldn't ask for more. Thanks. Need to stop long enough to see what agcoparts shows. Again, great information from a great yt'er. May need those diagrams. I'll let you know.

FWIW- Agco dealer in Mountain Lake, MN. had a NOS module for about $800, NLA from AGCO...what, 3 years ago when I did mine? I got the used module from either Worthington Ag or All States Ag Parts, and the N harness from a local dealer, who also provided the prints.

Dummy head for a grain pickup? I have two- one promised to a son. IIRC the other one is missing a pickup belt. 13 foot wide head. Also, friend in Morrison county should have one- missing some parts? I hauled it up to him from a local sale years ago.

Just noticed a dummy hd for F2- $350 at Rice, MN. On St.Cloud craigslist, Farm & Garden listing.

I'm trying to harvest my Southern peas differently. I have a sund pickup. But we don't have many F2 combines here, and when I find them, they have an 18 ft header to harvest 25 bushel wheat. I'm having trouble finding the 13 ft header, minus the reel.

Called mountain lake (hope I'm saying the right place) and he didn't have one in good enough shape. I picked up a chopper near Minneapolis a couple of years ago, so I don't mind driving, but fuel price sure ads to the cost.
