IH 230 windrower please help!

I have an International 230 windrower that has been a good machine however I decided it needed the steering clutches and planetary transmissions redone and the parts availability has frustrated me greatly. I have managed to get everything I have needed so far but I am down to one last bearing and am striking out. What I need is the bearing on the input side of the planetary transmissions the IH part number is 591895R91 and of course is NLA. The bearing also has the number 2J-443 on it, it is a Canadian made FAG brand bearing according to a salesman from Motion Industries who contacted FAG directly that is a dead part number. If anyone out there happens to have 2 of these bearings I would be interested in purchasing them. Or if anyone knows of a good source for NOS parts or another bearing manufacturer part number cross I would greatly appreciate it, at this point ANY help is appreciated lol. Thanks in advance I'm confident that if anyone can help its the fine folks who frequent this site.

Well, I had an International 16 chopper that needed a couple new bearings. I.H. Only had one in their online system, priced at $57. I went to Napa, and they couldn't help with the bearing, but the parts man wrote something on a piece of paper and handed it to me. It was the name of a business in St. Cloud, MN called Ickler Company. I walked in with my old bearing, they took a 10 second look and asked how many I wanted. I asked what's the price, $7 each. Yes it is foreign made, but the knowledgeable staff new the speeds they were rated to run at, and the old I.H. won't be a 1/4 of that speed. Put them in, they fit perfect, and have had no issues since. They do have a website, just search Ickler Company, MN, or their phone number is 320-251-8282. Hope this helps you.

Your "dealer" really let you down by not checking the obsolete parts network. There's a few NOS ones throughout the dealer network.

One of the first I saw was Mark's Equipment.

Give "Rod" a call @ (605) 665-4540.

He has two on the shelf ready to send you. $26.78 each, which seems pretty reasonable!

(Or are you just doing ONE of the plantaries?)

Bob thank you so much! I called and they did indeed have them and they will be headed to my door tomorrow! What a relief! I should have known from past service that the dealer had let me down, definetly not my favorite place to shop, luckily this windrower is the only red machine on the farm so I don't have to deal with them much. I knew the folks on this site would come through thanks again!
