Some of the combines brought a fortune and some were given away..Some of the Allis tractor prices were insane..Theres 5 pages you will have to look thru..
Sale

The 190XT's sold new for around $10K in the late 60's and the D21 probably sold for $12 - $13K in the same period. At that time, dealers were selling new "G" combines for around $10K also.

There was an amazing amount of items and implements beyond tractors on this sale.
I had next to last bid on the Minneapolis Moline M5 LP with 305 New Idea picker.

What sucks is I would have gladly given the price of that D17 series IV, but currently out of the country. Never fails when you want it, you are not there to buy it.

Ed,I couldnt believe what that Rumely 6 sold for...Nixons have
sold two this year....Segers brought $6,750 and the one in PA
sold for $6,250..There was also one for sale in MN for
$7,500..

I wonder what makes a U Allis on rubber worth
$11,000...Segers A Allis sold for $9,500 and the one in Illinois
sells for $23,500..The craziest price was $37,500 for the WC
road grader..

Prices were really high on the AC stuff. I think the reason for the lowered price on the other brands is this was primarily an AC auction and that's where the auctioneer did the majority of the advertising. Im wondering if I can get that for my 190 picker! lol

I was hoping the M with the New Idea picker would have brought more, that was a cool rig.

I wish I could find stuff like that around here. Could've used that Knoedler mill for $25. Also could have used one of any of the pull-type combines to do 5 acres of specialty grain so I wouldn't have to change everything around on the Gleaner and back again.
