300 MF combine

Does anyone know what motor were in these? I have a 1085 MF tractor that needs a motor and was wondering if this was a match. 318 perkins in the tractor.

My 300 had a slant 6 crysler engine.

300 diesel was a 203,if I make no mistake the 410 used a 318

The engine you need is in the MF 540 combine, the 410 diesels had the A4 300 that looks similar to the 318. I scrapped a 540 but kept the engine in case I ever need it to replace the engine in my S90 puller.

The 300 used a gas 225 cu in 6 cyl Chrysler or a 203 Perkins. The 540 MF combine used a 318 diesel. I have no idea as to compatibility with a 1085.
