Original 2owner combine. Overhauled 303 gas,new rasp bars. 68 model came with a quick tach feeder house. 2378 hrs on a working tach. Needs a few chains tightened, runs like a watch, roaded it home 13 miles without a hitch. Cut 20 acres of beans last year, previous owner got a 4420.

Like me, the previous owner probably got tired of sitting out in the dust and heat and found an air-conditioned 4420. That's the biggest reason I got my 4420 three years ago. Al

A very nice combine! I had a neighbor who had a 6600 and a 1968 55 diesel with a quick attach feeder house. Normally he only used the 55 to help cut beans, and shelled corn with the 6600 using a 443 corn head. The hydro on the 6600 went out with a hundred acres of corn left in the field. He used the 55 with the 443 corn head and got the corn in. He said the the 55 would shell 400 bushels per hour unloading on the go. John Deere only recommended a 3 row corn head on a 55 but my neighbor made the 4 row work.
