Height of a 403

Fly home from the oil patch next week, and need to get the 403 I bought home. Need to know how tall it is, don't know if my trailer will work or if I'll need to borrow a lower one. It has a cab, but it is a scabbed on cat grader cab, so it can come off.

(quoted from post at 17:26:08 04/21/14) A 715 is about 140"
Pretty much same machine.
is that 140" to the top of cab, or the bin? That'll put me at 14' 10", have to see if I can find a lower trailer, or have to pull tires and set it on blocks. Thanks :)

this one has a 13' head, so probably a bit lighter. Weight won't be an issue with my drop deck, but if I borrow my friends gooseneck for the lower deck height, I may have to haul the head and feeder house separate to lighten it up. Doubt I will though, his gooseneck is probably not a full 10" lower than my drop deck. Thanks.

The manual for the 715 shows 140" to top of factory cab.
The cab is higher than the grain tank.( you probably knew that).
I recently picked up a 403 with a factory cab, but it will be a few days before I can get any kind of measurements if that would help.

SixtyNine,I hauled this JD 95 700 miles 2 years
ago.As you see it,it sets 13'9" to thetop of
cab.Swamp cooler and wheels were removed.Or,if
you're not going far, haul on a bumper pull as
this,It's rated for 15,000.

14,4" is/was the max.legal hieght(according to
DOT)The cable TV wires are the ones to watch....We
were told(by the DOT) that all power wires were
minimum 17'.We went under a (posted) 15' bridge.That
was 'spooky'.

legal height here is 14' even, but I know from experience making hay deliveries with my 13'6" van not all the wires are that high! Probably end up pulling the drive tires, and maybe tearing off the scabby road grader cab, it bothers me anyway. I'm going 340 miles so I think it will be worth the effort to get it low enough to not have to worry.
