I"ve got my 410 with 421 4 row 30 corn head and 15 ft grain
table machine has been stored inside almost always, motor
runs great needs a few little things done but overal in good
shape. Paint is pretty good too, how much should I ask for it?
I"m in northern Indiana and it hasn"t sold at $1800. I think that"s
fair but maybe I should just scrap it. Am I out of wack with my
price?

Spring is a hard time of year to interest anyone in a combine. Your best chance to sell it will be after the crops are planted and up so potential buyers start thinking about what they will need for harvest. I'd pull the ad and wait if you want to get a better price.

good advice from all posters, PLEASE , don't scrap ,, especially the heads,, you can get as much for them as the thresher alone ..wait a couple monthes to try selling ,, there is a market for your machine for upstarts looking for a proven machine ,,.far better to invest 2 grand in a older machine than 10 grand in a modern machine with tired hydro pumps , deadsensers and crazy murphy valves shuttin everything down and driving ya nuts ... at least with your machine thay can always make ALL their money back...

If it has a 421 head that would mean it's not a quick attach.

I'd say that unless you can find a collector it will be hard to sell.

Hope I'm wrong, and wish you luck selling it.

I had a 410 probably 8 years ago as my first machine. I put it in farm world, the calls came from the south and east. Sold it to TN. Maybe you're only advertising locally? I'm in north central IN. Wonder how much it weighs, got $220 a ton for baling today.
