Yesterday morning at 4:30 am I and two friends headed 307 miles west and north to attend the Lahodny estate sale at Concordia,Kansas..We ran in to heavy snow from Eureka,KS to ElDorado,KS...There was probably 1-2" on the ground...When we headed north on 135 there were several bad accidents at Newton as their was ice on the overpasses..After that it was clear sailing and we arrived at the sale at 9:20 am..
At the sale it was around 30 degrees with a strong north wind but at noon the sun came out and it finally got up to 49 degrees later in the afternoon...The AC collectors were out in force and their were few bargains....One bargain was a nice early WC Allis on rear steel for $400..
