Feeder Beater Guides Question

I noticed today that one of the feeder beater guides was missing on my Gleaner K combine, I looked on agco to get the part number and saw that they have polyurethane and forged guides, whats on it now is rubber guides, I'm going to be using the combine in just corn so which one do I need to get?

Don't Know for sure about a K, but a few years ago we replaced the fingers, bushings and guides on our F2 feeder beater. The guides were metal; the guides on the cross auger on the grain head are plastic.

Corn-soybean specials had the forged guides on the feeder beater.

Both work- it"s just a longevity issue.

If you are going to run corn through your machine, you will want the metal guides on beater and the poly guides are great on the grain table as they run quieter.
