IH 300 value

I came across an IH 300 combine in a barn
today. It has a 2 row corn head on it and
has been inside for quite a few years, but
it is in very good shape from what I can
see. What would be the value of something
like this, a little more than scrap?

I have bought up a JD squareback 95, two JD roundback 55s, Case 600, MH 90 all running and I have yet to pay over $800 for any of them. Neighbor gave me his IH 151 last year. My point is it shouldn't be worth much.

Thanks, that was kind of what I was looking for. He said some scrappers offered him $300 and wanted to cut it up right there. He didn't think he liked that price for it to go down that road. He would likely give a deal if it was going to be kept around.

Maybe I read the number wrong or can't remember ship. What other models were built carrying a 2 row head? It had a white cab with the blower for the heater on the right side of the cab over the engine. The back is round, not squared off. I guess I'll just have to go back someday.

I just bought a JD 55 square back with 303 engine. I paid $800. It has a Martin bean head if anyone is interested in the head.

In my area you would have to pay at least $500-600 for a 303 IH just to out bid the scrappers...I would think that $500-750 would be a fair price...
