I used one of those for many years. pretty good picker, but snapping rolls were worn and resulted in a bit of butt shelling with modern hybrids. It ran good, never plugged up.

I bought one of these Wood Bros. corn pickers right after college (2004), though the owner had painted all of it orange. Sold it a few years later, now a days, I wish I hadn't. If you get that picker, hold on to it as there aren't a lot of them around.

My great uncle lost his left hand to a corn picker. Long as I ever knew, my uncle always had the clamps for his left hand, that was just Uncle Henry. Never asked if he would was willing to tell his story.
Most certainly an implement that deserves the upmost respect, ALWAYS SHUT OFF THE MACHINE BEFORE UNCLOGGING A PLUG!
