Took a peek at this girl today. Looks to be in good
shape, on a local auction Saturday.

It will be interesting to see what it makes. Did you manage to see what engine is in it? Straight six or V six? Straight is marginally better imho, just because it seems to cool better... The 108 does have a re-vamped cooling system (over my 106), so it does cool better anyways, but cooling has always been an issue.

Parts can be got from Massey Ferguson, same as an MF8460, or Claas, but some of them aren"t cheep... Belts however are metric in profile.

I"d love a 108!

The sale was today at Harley Gerdes Auction in Lyndon, Kansas. It sold today but no one can tell me for how much.

(quoted from post at 04:43:03 03/07/14) I didn't look oj. It just caught my eye as I was browsing the lot.

Did you happen to notice what the model of Claas bean head was,was it a flex cut auto countour head or a rigid cut head, I can see it sitting behind corn head but cannot see cutter bar, would you or anyone happen to have a picture of it so you could post it. We live in Indiana and have several Claas combines, I did not see sale posting till after sale.
