I farm with a JD 9500 but for last 5 years save about 20 ac. at the end to harvest with a 67 105 gas and 443 head. Combine has 36xx hrs. still in great shape.

I hope that pic is me this fall.We bought a 105 last fall and now have a quick attach feederhouse and a 444 low tin corn head.We have a 404 diesel out of a early7700 combine that we are planning to put in it before harvest. We also have 2 95's and a 55.The 95 with a 435 corn head is just a little small for 200 bu corn.We shell about 50 acers a year, the rest is silage or snaplage.I will post some pics of mine this fall. that is a fine looking machine, glad to see it still at work, not a lot of us around take time to save them and run them as well anymore, thanks for posting

If you want to save yourself the effort, there's a nice 69 105 corn special diesel in my shed that maybe needs a new home...

(quoted from post at 18:45:51 02/23/14) Where are you located ive always wanted one.
ristan, if your looking for one come a few hours south to East Troy Wisconsin and look up Gary Twist, he has several 95 and 105 combines.

The 105 is not a hydro, and is in VERY nice condition. We've owned it since 1989, and went through it every year. I think its been shedded its whole life.

It'd probably take $6 grand to pry it out of here... but it does have a very nice quicktach, as well as a 635n and 435w corn head. Belts are all like new, and I have many spares as well as spare parts in the shed.

We needed something bigger, and bought a 9500 last year. With that in the shed, its kinda hard to justify keeping the 105 around.

I guess I should finish this one.It has never sat out has less than 2500 hours and never did corn only small grain. The metal and paint is perfect. The 404 engine was free out of a neighbors early 7700 that was in a fence row.I have a 435 head on my 95 and do not want any more of those. They were ok but a 444 is a big improvement. The worst thing about collecting combines is the shed space they take.If I find a reason to be in your area I would like to take a look at yours to see how I am going to have to rework my throttle linkages. We shell about 50-75 acers of corn a year and use one 95 for wheat and will use the other 95 for beans as the 55 started getting away with antifreeze last fall and has other issues as well.

You are more than welcome to look. We live in Oconomowoc.

I'm not sure that the linkage will be the same, though... depending on the vintage of the engine. If newer like a 30 series, the injection pump is located differently than on a 105. You may have to do your own engineering there.
