HOW CAN I TELL IF A 9500 COMBINE I'M LOOKING AT HAS THE 215 OR 235HP ENGINE?

Get the number off the engine. The version number will tell you which engine you have. I can't remember which one is which right now but the parts book will say in the front of it. Mike

Friend of mine has a 9500 with the bigger engine. The gear driven water pump went out this fall and cost him a new engine. Guess JD has a problem with the pumps on those engines, 1600 hours.

He bought it on an estate sale. It wasn't used for a number of years.

you need to keep the weep hole clean, people let them get full of dirt and bad things happen, not the best idea in my mind but MM also did it
