John Deere 30 Parts

OK.. Now that I got this combine home, I am finding out that I am missing some parts..... But can't seem to find anywhere online that sells them. Does anyone know of a place to buy used parts? Or maybe someone that has a 30 that would sell me some things.. Currently I'm needing the sprocket for the right wheel and drive chain which drives the reel. I'm sure the list will be added to, but this is what I have found on my brief inspection. Thanks in advance!
 
The chain is a common size 'flat' chain.Should be
easily available about anywhere.I should have lots
hanging out on the rack.I would imagine that most/all
parts are no longer available from
JD.Soooo......Keep looking/asking,get creative.Do
not destroy ANYTHING.You may need to
repair/'remanufacture' some parts.The parts will
come together.Order the books,parts and
owners.JenSales and Ebay are scourses for these
books.Get belts from JayDee enterprises(half of
Deere's prices)Deere wont have em anymore.Good luck! happy 'combineing'. Steve

In Sept 2012 at Pierce,NE there were (30) model 30 JD
combines on a huge 3 day sale that all went for scrap at
around $400 each..Its a shame that some of them werent
saved for parts..Most were in good shape..
 
did you call j deere,..frys ,, kendalls, in pa ,, mite be able to help locate ,,..I would also bet there are 20 jd 30 ,12a , 25s laying out behind the barn in this county ,, maybea couple still in use ,,, cantthink of any rite now ,,but will be on the hunt///// just a thought hydraulic reel drive could modernize your machine ,.,..

I have a 12A that is junked. You are welcome to the sprocket,tightener and chain. I do not know for sure if the sprocket is interchangeable with the 30, or if the chain is the same length. We have a 30 in the shed, but it is kind of hard to get to.
Email gfoster at yadtel dot net. You know how to correct the email address. I will take it off and ship to you. I think it will fit one of those flat rate boxes.
