Two Large Sales In Kansas With Old Combines

Nice find Blaine, I wish they would take more photo's of the equipment. Especially, the Massey equipment I would be interested in seeing the condition. Do you plan to attend?

I and two friends are planning on going to the Seger sale on March 21st..About 35 years ago I talked to him at the sale where he bought the 15-27 Case..Sadly he was killed in a car wreck last summer on the way home from Idaho..

I'd love to go to the Hornbaker sale, especially on day 3 out at the farm but probably wont make it....Nixons do need to put up more pictures..Theres probably more combines there than whats listed...He used to have lots more combines but did sell off some..I think Seger's model 36 JD combine came from there..I tried to buy some combines from his widow but she wouldnt sell..

I plan on being at the Hornbaker sale on day 3. I"d like them to put up more pictures of the non running tractors as well! I might make it to day two but that will be right in the middle of fertilizer season for us so I might not get to day 2.

Lance,I just talked to Nixons and they are going to try and get some more pictures put up...I told them that people do collect combines and that we would like to see more of the unrestored tractors..Lots of MM stuff at both sales..

Also Nixons will have people at the Hornbaker farm on Thursday March 20th so that people on the way to the Seger sale can view the items selling March 29th..We are going to swing by Tribune that day to inspect things while on our way to Ulysses,KS...I just got a room booked at Ulysses for March 20th..

I got on Flash Earth and you can see the rows of tractors and combines at each farm...
