IHC 715 Grain Pan Apron

Finally got mine removed. It's full of holes and fractures. Does anybody have any leads on a new one? I suspect anything used will be just as bad or worse than mine.

These are for rotary combines only. IH quit making conventional combines in 1978. I doubt if anyone is making new pans for a 40 year old machine. The best bet is to try to find a used one that is not too bad or bit the bullet and get a good fabricator and build one. They should not be that hard to reproduce. I've had to do worst things sometimes.

Thanks all, I figured that's where it was going. I just thought I'd give it a shot before I re-invented the wheel.

I don't know who or where but there was a company making universal fit shaker pans for combines a few yrs ago they came in a roll and you had to cut to length and width and weld it in.
if you have access to a brake just buy a sheet of I think 18ga? galvanized steel. cut to width and start bending until its long enough cut it off and mig weld it in.

Having a local sheet metal business make me one. I'm guessing that not very many of these things were ever replaced. The construction of the machine would indicate that the engineers didn't figure anyone would really do it. Manual instructions as to how to do it are only one paragraph and not very specific.
