2013 Harvest

Here are pictures during the 2013 harvest. I have one field where I plant strips of corn and beans so when we take this field out, we usually have both of our combines there working. I took a picture of them working together....usually they never work on the same farm at the same time, so had to snap a shot of them.

The 2 combines together have almost 12000 hours. The 1460 is a 1977 model and is running its 37th harvest.

Very well cared for combines...I have a tractor pulling friend in Kansas and the last I knew,he still had his late Dads 1460 that was bought new when they first came out..

The Drago is a six row head and seems to pull real easy, maybe better than the 1063 that use to be on it. I think it might be a little lighter also since it is all poly. The 1460 started life with an 863 corn head, a 963 came next for 14 years, then a 1063 for 15 years. We have run the Drago for two seasons.
