9600 7720 feeder house size

I was just wondering if any one knows if the feeder house are the same size on a 9600 as a 7720 tittan 2. there is a corn head coming up for sale soon not sure on the row widths but its an after market one not jd. Just wondering if it would fit or would it have to be adapted

The feeder house mounting plate is the same width. The only thing different would be the drive on the left hand side. The JD 7720 had the coupler chain sprocket with the cover on the combine. On the JD 9600 (similar width as the JD 8820) The reverser sticks out further so the left hand side of the combine just has the sprocket. The sprocket with the cover would be on the combine.

IF the JD 9600 has contour master on it then it would have a drive shaft there anyway.

thanks jd. Not sure what to do sounds like it will fit except the drive then wouldn't be to hard to change that. Prob is we run 8 40"s. Most around here plant 36" rows in 6 or 8 rows. we upgraded to the 9600 to pick up some custom work around the area hoping to get into the cereal harvest and send the round baler out to do straw as a lot of custom guys around here run rotary's so there is some demand. I think corn is just guna be a drama at the minute but will see what sort of money it makes
