Looking for factory fold down hopper extentions. For case ih 2388

I didn"t thing there ever was such an animal.

First factory fold downs were on the 7000 series, it"s what I thought anyway.

I may have misread your post. I thought you were looking for the hydraulic foldown extensions.

IA GARY has it correct. You will have to go with an aftermarket brand. I liked the Maurer ones. They seemed to be well built.

They have two sizes for a CIH 2388:

Reguler that adds 95 BH for a total of 305 BH
Large that adds 140 BH for a total of 350 BH
Maurer Bin extension heights and sizes

Check with some of your CIH dealers. I would bet that they have them around that are new take offs.

I almost never sold a combine with only the factory extension for the last 10-15 years. The guys around here put the biggest they could get and still get in their sheds.
