9400 combine early model

when cousin had a 9400 we were always told the throttle switch "is what it is" Reason given was machine has to be up to speed to have no alarms on any of the sensors

reading elsewhere on the web indicates the 9400 had a rotary injection pump that will not work with the later version 3 position switch offered on the bigger series

The 9400 were all that way one of the only differences in the early ones were that they had an electric park brake that changed in later models to a pedal

I think all the early 00 series may have had the two position throttle. My brother has a 9500 like that and my neighbor also had a 9500 that way. Those two combines are 1989 and 1990 year models. BIL had a 1991 and it had the three position throttle. Don"t know if can upgrade, but you get used to operating them after awhile.
