Hello,
I think the front differential in my JD 45 combine blew up. Is their any way to fix it or is it completely gone now?
thanks

First, look at the 'sleeve' connectors that connect the short drive shafts to the final drives. If they are 'intact' drop the transmission and look inside...If that is 'shelled'Find a used tranny and salvage parts,or just swap trannys

Nope. When I shelled the tranny in my 45 I found a junk local machine.Look things over first to find out what the problem is before you spend a lot of money/time you dont neede to spend.

have two JD 45's with trannies in them , one i know is good . don't know about the other. but i'm in Ohio.

were the transmissions the same from the 45 to the 55? how about the 95 and 105, i assume they are different, but i think i have a few 45's, 1 55, and a couple 95s, if that helps.

No.The 45 is 45 only as it is 3 speed.55/95/105 each
use a 4 speed.So you need a 45 trans.But I believe
that a roundback and squareback use the trans.Or so
I've been told.....
