I have a 420 case crawler that had a case four cyl engine put in it. no idea what number combine it is out of. Just guessing wild what combine might it be out of and how much oil pressure should it have. I have five to ten pds. any input would be helpful. thank you John cummins
 
I am going to say the engine is from the late 50s to the middle 60s right? So my question is what kind and wait oil are you using? Bandit
 
If it is a 188cu. in. gas, the book says 14-20. If a diesel the book says 50-60. Does it have a mechanical gauge or a sending unit? If a sending unit I would hook up a mech. gauge to check accurate reading.
 
5-10 pounds at idle warm would be about right for an old case like that. My Dc runs at about 22-25 lbs at full rpms when warm. Yours should be a little higher than that but not a lot.
 
thanks for the info, I feel better now . I should has also said gas as I didn't know that there was a diesel option. any guess what model combine it may be from. thank again John cummins
