oliver 7800 or 5555

A local dealer had a straw walker for one last year. I was looking for one for a 7300, If you would like I will check with him.

I think Shoupe carries parts for them. I know I they have a section for White combines but I dont have their book handy to know exactly what they have. Just google their name and you can look on their website.

A phone number to the dealer would be good. Does many of the white parts interchange with the older olivers

The 7800 evolved into the 8800 and 8900/8920. I think most of the internals such as concave, walkers, cranks, pan, are essentially the same. The main differences in these models were things like cabs, engines and some drives. I know the cylinder drive gearbox was the same on these models. Probably the best and cheapest source would be combine wreckers, especially if these were common machines in your area.

Edit: I just checked my parts books, the walkers in the 7800 and 8900 are the same part number.

A&I Products list the concaves and rasp bars. I have a 8800 with all the straw walkers in it I'm going to scrap, but I'm in western Oregon so the shipping would be a problem.
