Going to sell my old combine on CL had several lookers as far as I know nothing is wrong with it other then age should a put in the bill of sale as is when ever I bought any the it was assumed that it was bought as is where is I am afraid that they will think something is wrong with it if I do it that way.

Just be honest.Tell em nothing is wrong(if that is
truly the case), tell em EXACTLY what you know what
it may need. But,Its an old used machine, anything
could 'blow up' at any time.....OR not.... Anyone
with a 'half a brain' will understand, and be OK with that.Anyone who
needs a 'warranty' is an idiot. You should run!You
also would be an idiot for giving a warranty as
well.

When I sell anything I put "sold as is" on the sales slip or receipt to indicte that it was not sold with a warranty. If you don't do that you could be sued in some states [where I live] and may be forced to refund the purchase price or repair the item. I do not put "sold as is in my" adds but that is discussed at the time of sale. I have found that most buyers understand that you can not warranty it because it is used and they are paying used price.
