Massey Ferguson 300 Combine - Main grain pan

How can I best get in to the main grain pan area of my MF 300 Combine? Only half of it seems to be working. My Operators Manual and Workshop Service Manual only mention the main grain pan, but have no photos or breakdown of how to get to it. Anyone have a parts manual with pictures and breakdown or any suggestions? Thanks.

It has been A-LOT of years. But I think you can get to it from the front down under the cylinder right behind where the feeder house attaches.

It helps if you pull the feeder house , then let the fun begin . I did one on a 410 many years ago and all i can remember is that it was NOT a 12 pack job - more like a case.

if you are talkin about the 6 ft long rippled pan ?? my son and I replaced one 15 yrs ago,, it came out the back after removing sieves .. mine was broke when the blok for the cylinder pully wheel rocked over into the grain pan area ,, sumthin had to give , tore the pan in half ...

Thanks for the replies...I agree, it looks like more of a 'case' job! Still looking for a breakdown diagram from a parts manual if anyone has one.
