Heres a Craigslist ad thats been running in my area..I'll bet that he ends up with some good ones..

Recently a man on Newagtalk put a picture on of a combine that he pulled out of the shed to junk..Several on there said that he should offer it for sale to a collector...He reported back that he did place an ad and that it sold within one hour..

When I tried to sell my All Crop 90, the only calls I got were from junk guys...

I think there were less than 6000 made.

Should I take their money?

I still have it... Waiting on Tom Yaz to drive down from mercer to pick the whole thing up. Tom, if you are out there, REPLY~! Junk guys want it, but... I don't want to...

I just wish we had a 100x200 building just to dedicate to the old stuff. I can't combine my new hybrids with a 1970's machine. I am having trouble with a 1990's machine. If only I could step back and have fun. Old stuff is too much work. I'm sure everyone feels that way. farms get bigger. Number of landowners get smaller. There is no demand. I wish there was, I could make a fortune back.

If I showed you what was hauled away from this area, you would cry. I wont. You don't need to cry...

John,I would be interested in hearing what was hauled away
from your area..I promise that I wont cry..Its the same in
my area..

A shedded one owner 80 Massey combine recently got
scrapped...These same fools sold a low hour one owner
1206 IH for $4000..A couple of complete L Allis crawlers
ended up in an area junk yard but got saved by collectors
at 40 cents per pound..Years ago I and a friend offered
$1000 each for them where they were sitting 12 miles from
me but the junkers got them..

Hopefully a collector will buy your All Crop 90..

Have a C2 Gleaner for sale now for about a month on craigslist. No interest or feedback at all. Selling it basically for scrap price, cut wheat this year with it.
Old stuff (and this is not as old as you're talking about) is just not worth anything if it is too big to put on a car hauler trailer.

I was having a tough time selling my 90 this year. I finally put a $40 as in one of the farm papers that spans several states. SOld in one week. I could've sold another one if I had it. I"m in Indiana, maybe things are different here.

All of this should be saved!
I am from Europe and it is so bad to see combines going to scrap yard. For sure, there are still many combines and tractor left on this side, but if the best units could be saved, that would be much better.

John,

Don"t recall talking to you...perhaps I did but forgot. How close to Mercer? send me an email thru my website.
