OK that is what was done I did not think a 330 had hyro,,right? does look like a well equipped machine if I am seeing things right some things I seen are hyd swing out unloading auger and A/C and dsl engine, would that engine be able to handle the Hydro and A/C extra hp requirements? I realize A/C does not take much but add that to the Hydro and in Corn makes me wonder? anyway nice looking machine for sure

3300 came with hydro from factory. my dad bought new one in 1975 for 22500.00 with 2 row head & 13 ft platform and used it til 1982 when he rented more land and wanted 4 row head so traded for 4400. he put a/c on his and had plenty power. he tried a 615 but thought the 3300 was better combine.

Yes, the tailings have been remove since it is a plot combine. If the tailings were intact the plots would become mixed or take much longer to deliver to the weigh bucket because of rethresing.

It will take several dollars to make the combine fit of the field because of the plot modifications.

350D saver: John Deere NEVER MADE a factory JD 3300 or 4400 with a hydro. IF your father's had a hydro drive then it was a kit that was dealer installed and not JD. If there was an after market kit made by some small company I have never heard or one.

This combine was seriously modified for seed plots.

You can make anything you want work but JD DID not offer a hydrostatic drive for the JD 3300 or JD 4400.

THe AC was a factory option and that was common.

JD Seller, you are right about hydro on 3300, what I meant was it came with variable speed not hydro. Nice little combine at the time from what I can remember but I was only 17 when dad got rid of it, had other things on my mind like cars & girls. More important at the time than a combine.
