JD 95 raddle chain

I wondered who the moron was that decided to put rivets in those upper sprockets while I lay on the sieve for 2 hours today. All that to remove the shaft to build it up and rethread the clutch end of the shaft. I think I will double up some roll pins for the replacement. If anyone needs new sprockets, get them now as deere is almost out of stock.

Chain and sprockets were replaced when I got my 55. They used big cotter pins in the sprockets. Been working for the last 11 years.

Here"s a sieve trick- lay some plywood, cardboard, etc. on it.....not so uncomfortable when you"re lying there, praising the design engineer. Retains tools and small parts as well.

We have always just pulled the sieves out, a bit longer, but alot more room to work in there then. Putting a new front shaft/bearings and sprockets in 95 today. My brother ordered a couple sprockets last year and there were 90 left, now its under 30!

I got the shaft out today, cut the old sprockets in
half. There are 8 new ones in my truck and my cousin
got 4 also for his 55. I may never need the other 4
but..... The threads were stripped on the clutch end
so that was the reason for removal.
