Curved feeder house to flat feeder house

I Have a later flatfaced intermidiate feeder house on my JD95sb combine.I have an 'old style' curvedface feederhouse on a 16' platform.Has anyone ever adapted the old to new?I would really like to just "quik-tach" the corn(443) and grain heads.I see quite a bit of head swapping on here,so I'm sure it can be done.I,ve been looking at it and thinking...

Your old curved face head does not have the correct frame to mount like the flat face ones have. The distance from top to bottom is different. You could make it work with a lot of work but you would basically need a donor head for the frame.

A ridged 16 foot head with the correct mount should not be very high money wise. The old style Quick tach head with the mechanical drive reel will sell for scrap price around here. Maybe go to the 200 series and mount a real drive pump on the JD 95. Then you would have a much better head anyway.
