Sweet corn harvest

Picking sweet corn at our place today. I leased 30 acres to another farmer to go sweet corn. They'll be running all night.

Do they do anything with the green stalks after the pick the corn?

I've seen those guys harvesting in the field across the road. They can cross a field and fill a trailer faster than anything I've seen in a field.Doesn't take them long to do a lot of acres and move on.

Is the header the same as on a regular corn combine or would those do too much damage to the ears? With that much moisture in the stalks it looks like it would gum up.
