Chopping grass for insilage this week for a local dairy. Here's a few pictures. Looking out the front and the back and fueling up.

I thought I posted the refueling with the others so here it is. Today my sidekick came to ride along. You can see the standing grass behind the tractor. Those are 9 foot windrows, I run in 2 low, Ran 8 hours on 40 gallons of diesel today. You can see we are making use of the truck roof for extra capacity.

RE: The truck roof-We found out years ago that if you stand up there now and then it will cave it in thus increasing the capacity a little bit, this was with shelled corn not forage, LOL
 
That's a pasture mix with tall fescue and ryegrass and some meadow foxtail. There is another grass in there but I'm not sure what it is. That field gets a lot of manure water out of the lagoon pumped on it in the summer.
 
I'm really surprised at the fuel usage, but I'm not working it hard, could go up a gear and run full throttle, but I just set the pto speed at 1020 and go. That's a 2-155 on the chopper and a 2-135 on the mower.
