I really want to make sure the tach is right or at least close on my L. The spot tachometers that I have but no longer works are no longer made. Any other companies make one?? Is there a good electronic one that anyone recomends?? I need to get this all checked over ahead of time thanks. <a href="http://s3.photobucket.com/user/Forsythia-man/media/dcp_4210_zpsd5a29012.jpg.html" target="_blank">

Thanks for the link on that. I was wanting one of the manual ones and it looks like they are no longer made. I agree I want a manual one.

The manual tach that I bought about 1960 is still at the farm. No recollection what I paid for it back then. It hasn't been used a lot, but was real accurate when we needed it.

R Wyler: I just happened to look on the Internet. There is a newer model number on the Stewart Tachometers. They new model number is "Stewart Warner Hand-Held Tachometers 82682" there are many hits of sites that sell them. They seem to range in price from about $95 to $125.
