Combine height?

Looking into getting my first combine. My barn door is 140 inch high. And 15ft wide. I'd like a good 4 row combine I'm thinking jd 4400, 6600, gleaner F series, or NH TR70. Any info on dimensions as well as pro and cons ?
Thanks.

There are not going to be many combines that will fit under a 11 ft. 8 inch door. You may get a JD 440 or maybe a JD 6600 to go if they have the small tires. If they have 23.1 x 26 which is the common size they will be taller. 18.4 x 26 on many JD 4400 will allow it to go under a lower door.

I don't think a JD 4400 will go into a 11' 6" door. The book say the height of my JD 4420 combine is 11'9". Two years ago I bought a JD 4420 with a 213 header. Had to make a new door on my barn that was 18 ft wide by 13 ft high. I think a 13 ft header might go through a 15 ft door but it will be a tight fit. If your shed has a ground floor, you might be able to remove a couple of inches of ground where the tires track to get it to fit. Al

Gleaner F fit in a 11 foot door.

Gleaner F2 needed a couple inches of modification to the footing and the top header to fit in.

Gleaner F3 only fit in by letting the air out of the tires quite a bit.

Had to be real careful I never moved the combine with snow/ ice on the ground, that was enough to make it scrape....

Can't go 100% by the manual, as different tires will give you different heights, and we are right on the edge here.....

4 row wide header fit in the 17 foot width well. The 13 foot header fit in fine, but had to watch what you were doing. The 15 foot header was a couple inches too wide to fit in.

Any older Gleaner rotary like an N5 or R40/R50. Even N6/7 and R60/70 will fit in an opening that high but your width will be a problem. N5 is about 132" high. An M/M2 would barely make it. Book put M2 at 139" high. These are all with just the factory extensions. An M2 should squeeze into a 15" wide door.

We just hauled a F2 gleaner home yesterday - it was 135 inches tall, 118 inches wide (outside tire to outside - front tires). With a 13ft grain head you should be ok (will be tight) - Four row corn head no problem
