Do we have any Gleaner P80 owners here? It would be nice to find one for the collection at some point, but you don"t see these critters come up for sale very often. I personally know of one unit first hand. Due to the limited production numbers, I would put these in the rare category. Even if you don"t have one, feel free to share any stories, pictures, experiences, tidbits, etc.

Lonn, you need to snap some pictures of your brother's P80 sometime. I remember you mentioning that one in a previous thread. What's the history on that one? Was it a local find?

Joe, keep us posted. Hope it works out. The story behind the orange paint would be interesting. I wonder if a dealer sprayed that one before going out. The one I know of is also badged A-C.

That's right, I think I said I would post some pics. I'll try this weekend. It was bought at an auction a mile or 2 Northwest of Wanamingo MN. Not sure if the farmer bought it new or not but my brother also bought the D17 he had and I got his snap coupler 4 row planter. We still have all this stuff in the sheds. I'll get the farmer's name and see if anyone recognizes him. This was back in about 1994 or 95.

Brother has one in a shed. Badged Allis-Chalmers but not orange. Has that confounded Wisconsin engine. He would like to find a factory PTO drive for it.
