426 engine, 22ft head, hydro. Anything in particulaar to look for? I know the usual like sprocket wear ect and over all signs of excess wear. Believed under 2k hours. Says it runs good. $5k I think. Also how many parts are the same as L2s? I have been looking into it some and see different parts listed by serial number. The Ls are pretty good for parts availability aren't they?

Unloader auger swivel, check if it's tight and if the ball bearings are rusted. Cleaning fan, make sure the blades are straight across and not twisted. Check whether it has Z-slat radddle chains. It will be a short shoe model. Don't know if the 426's used the flywheel damper like the 301's, that is a wear point, and you almost need someone who's did it before to be correct.

Bought a swivel this year nearly $2000... Yes the 426 uses a harmonic balancer, I couldn't get a new one, had to settle for used. Don't know if its NLA or just out of stock as it was late in the season.

Okay I did some looking at the parts book. The bearings are the ball bearings in that collar ring? Looks like a $1000 or more to replace that assembly.

Thanks for the info. I will see what I can find out and will do my best. I remember reading about short and long shoe machines I forgot about that. It's Hard to know what to do.
