Wondering if a 222 cornhead (off a 300) will fit a Super 92 without much modification??
Have a chance to get one ....
Thanks, Ralph in OK.

Ralph,I really have no idea....But my advise,go ahead and buy it.If it doesnt fit, someday soon I am sure you will end up with a 300! LOL Good luck!Steve

Hi Ralph, I have a 73 pg parts book but it does
not show mts for a S-92 If you would like a parts
book would sell cheap. Thanks for past business.

Ralph, I have a MH 72 with a #22 corn head (I don"t know the difference between a 22 and a 222), but the manual says it is for the 72, 82 or 92. But each unit must have it's own elevator because of the cylinder width differences. My 72 has a 28" cylinder and my 82 is 32". If the 92 has the same cylinder width as the 300, maybe it"ll fit without too much trouble, but I"d get a 222 owners manual first.

neighbor had a Super 92 converted to the newer MF quick tach to use an 1859 head, the newer corn heads are much better, lighter and simpler

Ralph,

IH Red is right the MF 300 cylinder is too small. I have a MF 321 3row30" I got with my MF Super 92. The head looks like it will bolt right to my MF 410 Combine. I'm assuming the previous owner also bought this corn head thinking they could convert it over and never got it done. I really don't think it will ever go on my Super 92 Combine. My MF 410 diesel hydro is more suited for the corn head when I get time to work on the machine. I seem to be in the collection only phase of my collection. I hope to move forward to finishing a few of these machines over the years.

Ralph,a #20 or a #22 two row corn head was advertised to fit a 92 Massey...It would have to had the wide feeder housing..I doubt that very many were ever made..Really a Super 92 would be too wide for a 2 row 40" corn head..We had a neighbor with an 82 Massey and it barely fit between the rows..

I have a two row #20 corn head for my 35 Massey..Dad had a 72 Massey that had a #22 corn head..I hope I dont double post again..I cant figure out why its doing it..

Blaine, can't find your previous comment/question on if I got the old 1942/3 dual front 55 home yet?.... will get it in the next couple weeks, hope to be able to take some time, a day or 2 off work and haul from sunrise to sunset all I can handle... gotta change oil on the truck and make a little fuel money first... just found another 55 roundback with a 14 ft header, still got battery on it.....
Ralph.
