The A and C Gleaners are 30 miles north of me and are for sale..The C runs and came out of a shed..I looked at them in the rain yesterday..By the way we got 3.2" and thats the first rain to run water since last May..

The 95 JD is sitting in a field 15 miles south of me..I drove by it Monday when it was 73 degrees..Today its 28 degrees..

Over the years I had 3 Gleaner A's and a 3 stripe CII and still would be running Gleaners if we had a dealer that cared. But after a bad experance with them we switched to JD. I have been running 2 diffrent 95 corn specials sence 1990. Those old Gleaners allways did a good job for me. Ware are they located? Never know when a man might get a wild hair. Bandit

I wish I were closer. A CII would be nice. Considering leasing about 120 more acres over 20 miles away. First I have to make sure I have the ability to get the wheat out before rain/hail does. All the affordable combines like those for us small guys have been scrapped. Even field ready ones. Nothing much here left but machines that cost enough a man has to take out a loan....

The Gleaners are at Austin Farms Salvage near Butler,MO..Google them as they have a website..

Haven"t heard that name in a while. They put out a book, Austin"s Agri Parts Yards Finder, years ago. Met Arnold Austin at a parts convention very interesting man to talk to.

Arnie was quite a guy..He's been gone now for quite a few years..Two of his sons now run the business..
